This model is same as above model, but, instead of halogen bulb, illumination is provided through Plano-concave mirror mounted on a well contoured base.

›   Focussing - Incorporates a unique Single Spiral self-lubricating Nylon Gear System. The slides, travelling on ball bearing guideways through Co-Axial focussing controls, enable the highest degree of working convenience and eliminate Backlash errors.
›   Optics - DIN Achromatic Objectives, designed as per German Standards of optical system. Conventional low magnification lenses have a drawback. Because of their extremely long working distance they cannot be made parfocal with higher magnification objectives. This problem has been addressed by our DIN objectives. The parfocal distance of the DIN Objectives was increased to 45mm (compared to the conventional 37mm). The high powered objectives are provided with Parfocalising mechanism.
›   For maximum observer comfort, our newly designed HKW 10x occulars combine a wide field of view with a high eye point. Colour correction and field flatness are outstanding and these along with our achromatic objectives complete the specially developed compensating system.
›   Mechanical Stage - Extra large stage size (135x135mm) with travel range of 90mm along the X-axis and 45mm along the Y-axis for easy scanning of large specimens. Smooth movement on ball bearing slides is ensured through CO-AXIAL controls provided on the right side for operational comfort. A 0.1mm vernier provides accurate location of the specimen area.
›   Nosepiece - Low friction and fully parfocal Quadruple Nosepiece revolves on ball bearings and built-in click stop ensures perfect alignment for common field centre of each objective. The nosepiece has a soft ribbed grip for easy rotation, preventing damage from gripping the objectives.
›   Other Features - Extra clarity and high contrast binocular observation tube, rotatable through 360°, inclined at 45 degrees off the horizontal. Adjustable interpupillary distance and Diopter adjustment ring on the occular tube provide correction for eye-acuity.

The built-in illumination system incorporates a 6v-20w Halogen lamp with electroniccally variable luminosity control. Quick replacement of bulb is provided without opening the base or electricals. ›   Convenient Focussing Movement: The COAXIAL focusing system incorporates a very precise and wear resistant linear bearing mechanism that eliminates vibration and backlash. The coarse adjustment knob has a built in control to increase or decrease the tension of the focusing knob by rotating the Tension Adjustment ring. The fine focus knob is graduated in 0.01 mm increments.
›   Refocusing Lever: The Lever can be set at the desired focusing position of the coarse adjustment for easier refocusing, even at higher magnifications. It also helps to prevent collision between objective and specimen due to accidental stage movement.
