P35-1517V - Plastic Desiccator (vacuum)
- NET Brand Vacuum Dessicators are plastic enclosures used in chemistry labs to preserve moisture sensitive item and to keep them very dry. The dome is made of transparent Polycarbonate which gives a clear view of desiccants inside and has a Knurled knob for easy handling. The lower part is made from Polypropylene and has a internal groove on the flange to hold a silicon O-ring and to maintain good seal for vacuum creation. Dessicator is fitted with Polypropylene Stopcock which has a PTFE plug and it facilitates vacuum creation / maintains and holds vacuum upto 740 mm/hg and allows release of vacuum. Dessicator is equipped with perforated polypropylene disc with hole in the center for easy lifting. However porcelain discs are advisable in case of incandescent crucibles.
